Policy & Prep

Please ensure to read our booking policies and procedures before booking your next appointment with us !

NON-REFUNDABLE $20 FEE NO MATTER WHAT, meaning if you choose to cancel your appt you will not be refunded.
It gets added to your service!

PLEASE BE ON TIME TO YOUR APPOINTMENT 
Lateness causes a back up on my schedule & it is unfair to my other clients who have booked after you who are on time. Clients will be charged $5 for every additional 5 minutes they are late.
 
You are granted a 5 minute grace period to get to your appointment & 10 minutes until it is considered canceled unless you have communicated with me with the number sent on your confirmation & reminder email. You will be
charged a 70%  fee of the service booked if you do not comply with these policies!
Your card will get charged & if you choose to dispute with your bank this will be my proof.


CANCEL/RESCHEDULE 
If you cancel or change your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged a 50%  fee of the service booked.
If you reach out within 48-24 hours to reschedule & I can accomodate- I WILL. If not these policies will still be enforced.
Anything before 48 hours you can reschedule yourself online via the email tab or reach out if you need further assistance.
If you no call-no show you are required to pay the full amount of your service, if you decide to dispute with your bank, this will be my proof. if you do not comply with these policies you will be banned from booking with the sugar lab.

This policy is in consideration of the valued time of both our wonderful clients and our talented esthetician. If you don’t cancel or no show you are preventing somebody else from booking. You will receive a confirmation email for 48 hours  & 24 hours prior to your appointment.

THE PREP: Before your appointment, you will want to ensure the following:

  1. Exfoliate the skin a minimum of 3 days before your appointment.

    1. Do not exfoliate the day before, the day of, or the day after.

  2. Do not moisturize by putting creams or lotions on the area that will be receiving any treatment including numbing cream.

  3. Do not apply deodorant if getting underarms sugared.

  4. For best results, hair should be at least a 1/4 of an inch long ( the size of a grain of rice . ) 

  5. If you currently…

    1. Razor/Shave – Allow at least 3-4 weeks of regrowth before getting sugared.

    2. Wax – Allow 3-4 weeks of regrowth before getting sugared.

    3. Sugar – 4-6 weeks of regrowth.

  6. We recommend that men bring a clean cotton t-shirt and lounge shorts if having their back, chest, or legs sugared.

 After your appointment, you will want to ensure the following:

   1. No physical activities consisting of: working out, swimming, hot tubs, & sexual intercourse.

   2. We also want to avoid steaming hot showers or baths & exfoliating for 5 days.

   3. After the 5 day grace period you can begin exfoliating every other day( 2-3 times a week)!

 

VSTEAM Prep:

When preparing for a V steam with out sugaring it is recommended to get it done the same day/week you wax or shave.
If you are shaving it is better if you have little to NO hair.
